This year in the NBA some history has been made that were both exciting and sad. After fifteen long years in the league, Kobe Bryant from the Los Angeles Lakers has retired. He announced his retirement at the beginning of the season making his whole season a farewell to everyone and everything he has been involved in for so long. Bryant was drafted in 1996 by the Charlotte Hornets but he was quickly traded to the Lakers. Ever since he has been on the same team, winning five NBA championships. Bryant will always be remembered as arguably one of the best players to ever be in the league and his legacy will be missed.

The 1996 Chicago Bulls were a team to remember. Having a crazy good record at 72-10. Nobody ever imagined this record would have ever been broken, but it has. The Warriors made history breaking their record by one win. None of this could have been done without the hard work and team work Golden state uses. Steph Curry the reigning MVP had a big part of this record, averaging almost 30 points per game and 7 assists. Coach Steve Kerr of the Warriors used to play for 96 bulls so it was tough to see his old team lose that record but he is proud of his team for working hard to beat it.

Now, the one question I have for you is if you were to choose which game you could go to which would it be. Kobe Bryant playing his last game ever, or Steph Curry and the Warriors getting the new record?  The most expensive warriors ticket cost $16,000 and the Lakers cost a whopping $28,000 each.
