MiddleField Golf Course is a par 67 that only plays about 5,100 yards compared to the average course that plays roughly 7,200 yards. You’ll only find one par 5 on this course coincidentally the #1 handicap on the course as well, the 15th hole. The course is a perfect course to polish up some long irons and to hit fairways. It’s a realistic course to shoot even par on for a not so great golfer; if you consistently hit fairways and greens then you will be successful at MiddleField. 3 of the 6 par 3’s are over 180 yards so having a strong long iron game or hybrid club game becomes a major factor on these holes if you want to make par. The hardest part of the course is being able to hit fairways consistently and greens in regulation. Overall the course is fairly easy and in pretty good condition. Prices are kind of steep for a par 67 short courses that is so close to the freeway is one of the major bummers. Also the practice/warm-up facilities are really poor, in fact they don’t even have a driving range. Only one small putting green and a single flag in the middle of a green for chipping too.
